About Early Edge
I’ve worked inside and alongside Head Start programs for 25 years. I began my career in a program myself and later spent two decades with ChildPlus, serving programs across the country. That experience allowed me to see this work from both sides, inside programs doing the day-to-day work and inside the systems designed to support them.

Over time, I noticed a consistent pattern. Programs care deeply. Teams work incredibly hard. Yet tools don’t always connect the way they should. Processes become layered. Workarounds become normal. Leaders are left working harder than necessary just to make everything fit together.
Why Early Edge Exists
Early Edge exists to help programs make sense of what they already have, reduce unnecessary complexity, and focus their energy where it matters most, children and families.

Across programs of all sizes, I kept seeing the same thing. Strong leadership. Dedicated teams. Real investment in tools and training. And yet the work still felt more difficult than it should.
